THE POSITIVE HEALTH PROJECT

We are passionate about ensuring people affected by cancer have access to highly specialised support from the moment they receive their diagnosis. Many people suffer from an unnecessary physical decline during and after their cancer treatment and this can lead to significant impacts on their health, family, social life, work capacity, the success of their treatment and ultimately their quality of life. The Positive Health Project aims to help people at all stages of their cancer, with a focus on treating the person not the cancer, allowing people to achieve their goals, maximise their health and have a sense of control over their recovery.

In 2020 we opened the clinic, providing physiotherapy and lymphoedema services to people affected by cancer. The clinic was established to help address the lack of services in the local area for supporting people after a cancer diagnosis. Our clinic is the only private service in the area dedicated to treating people affected by cancer, working towards providing a highly specialised and positive experience to the local cancer community.
